Great novel but don't read it

so the novel is the first one i started reading 3-4 years ago and it is really good but still i wouldn't recomend anyone to read it because for the last 2 years i think the author only writes the mininum he's sopposed to by contract and so he just writes one big paraghap a month while the story is getting worse and worse aswell and nobody thinks it will ever get an ending

the one reason everyone still comes back to it is because the comment section has become a meme and is a fan thing to see once every month

Tales of Demons and Gods is very much a mixed bag.

TDG has a great world and the MC will thoroughly charge through all obstacles in his path to greatness; its an interesting read and a great story for sure. Its good enough that a large majority of people have come to Wuxia to read it myself included.

Do I recommend it to others?

The short answer is no.. and maybe.

If you're looking for a new novel to read then turn back you won't ever get an ending to this novel. Updates come once a month with an almost unanimous opinion of declining quality once the author lost interest.

If you've come to read it wanting more from having read the manga then I fully recommend reading from the beginning as you will get a lot more from doing so. But be warned as you already know the novel is all but completely abandoned now as progress so far from the perceived end has come to a mad snails pace.

Its sad the author has given up on a novel that should of been and was great I am grateful to it for bringing me to Wuxia but for those who haven't already started on the story I cannot recommend it for obvious reasons and will reflect that.

This novel is the first novel of many virgin Wuxia readers !

But time didn't do a great job on this one ... One chapter a month ... you need to be ready and patient because if the author do not change his pacing we will never seen the end.

It is like a great tv series you enjoy, with a great season ending. But you know what ? No next season .... No budget allocated ... And no following to help end it better ...

But it's worth reading for the rebirth part and the growth part of the MC and his friend !
