Along with a resounding explosion that came from the distance, Stein was startled when he saw the black smoke rising into the air. But he recovered shortly after as he felt a bad premonition. That location was the armory, and if anything happened there, it would be a huge blow to his strength.

Stein started cursing in his heart. The armory’s location was discreet, and only those parts of the mercenary group would know about it. Hence, he immediately figured out that Jacob must have sold him out.

Stein could even give up on his own father, so he doesn’t have any qualifications to request that Jacob doesn’t sell him out before leaving the group.

When Su Tao saw the smoke rising into the air, a sneer rose on his lips as it was his masterpiece.

He asked for a timebomb from Jacob and sneaked his way over in the night. The bomb went off a few minutes later, or he would be able to cause greater chaos to buy time.
