As of Ch.3:
Basic synopsis is that the MC is the extremely capable leader of a security team for a dirty politician. The politicians dirty laundry gets aired resulting in the MC being scapegoated and is then killed. Enter the McGuffin; he awakes to a ‘Grim?’ Reaper who says he’s lucky and gets a second chance at life but he needs to fill out a questionnaire first. Except that the amount of time you have to fill it out is entirely based on how well you lived your life. As the security lead for a dirty politician, he gets a grand total of 30 seconds. Unsurprisingly this turns out to not be enough time to get to the end of the paperwork and the fated question ‘would you like to relive your old life?’.
Not a lot to go off of yet but the premise is interesting. I’m not personally a fan of anti-hero or evil leads so I hope it doesn’t trend in that direction and the MC at least appears to care about the last wishes of the girls’ deceased mother. Could go either way though.
Worth the quick read. You’ve got the modern equivalent of arrogant young masters and probably a combat training arc on the way but don’t expect any flying swords.
