Hello Everyone!

My name is Yenmazing, and I’m thrilled to be working on my second novel translation, “The Skeleton Soldier Failed to Defend the Dungeon.”

Previously, I translated “Genius Archer’s Streaming,” a novel set in Korea's professional gaming world. It was my first experience as a translator, and since then, I’ve read countless more novels, refining my skills and deepening my appreciation for different storytelling styles.

“The Skeleton Soldier” is a completely different challenge from my first project. This new novel is a dark medieval fantasy filled with regression, tragedy, and growth. Adapting to this new genre has been an exciting journey, and I’ve had so much fun bringing this story to life. The depth of the protagonist’s struggle, the weight of his past failures, and the endless cycle of learning and overcoming obstacles make this novel truly stand out.

Of course, I couldn’t have done this alone. A huge thank you to my amazing team, Namu, Slumber, and eLDee, who have been absolutely crucial in helping me with this new challenge. Their support, insight, experience, and feedback have been invaluable in making this translation the best it can be.

While fantasy isn't usually my genre, our Nameless Skeleton almost makes it impossible to look away. Stuck in a relentless cycle of death and rebirth, he claws his way from a weak, boring undead into a force to be reckoned with. The worldbuilding is rich, the stakes keep rising, and the successions he inherits add layers of mystery each time. Along the way, he encounters many characters that make multiple appearances in his life and he treasures each encounter he has with them. Honestly, I'm curious to see if he'll be able to reach his end goal and how strong he will be by the end. Maybe he'll even command an army of monsters, but who knows?
