This novel was special to me not only because it was my very first novel to translate, but also because I feel like I have grown and developed together with Juan.

I know how cynical and unlikable Juan's character might come off to a few of you (not going to lie, I felt the same way in the beginning as well.)

But if you read until the end of this novel, I'm sure you would all see how Juan had grown to be a generous, loving, and warm human being!
