Hi, I’m hedgethehog, and this is my third novel as a translator! I’ve been part of Wuxiaworld for nearly three years now, working on Past Life Returner and Second Try Idol before diving into this one. Outside of translating, I work as a nurse in a pediatric cardiac intensive care unit. It’s tough—mentally, physically, and emotionally—but seeing babies and kids recover makes it all worth it.

I got into translating thanks to a friend who’s also a translator here. Every time we hung out, he couldn’t stop raving about how much he loved the job, and honestly, his enthusiasm was contagious. So, I gave it a shot, and here I am, still at it almost three years later! It’s wild how time flies. I’ve also done a lot of hospital interpreting as a volunteer, so I’ve always had a soft spot for language-related work. Plus, being able to work from anywhere with just my laptop? Absolute dream.

As for this novel, I’m blown away by how well-structured the story is. The author has created such a solid system for the Tower of Ordeal, and the trials on each floor are so creative. I’m genuinely impressed. And there are 100 floors! That’s 100 unique, fun, and engaging challenges to explore. What I love most is how the author stays focused as everything ties together seamlessly without throwing in random, irrelevant details. It’s been a blast to work on, and I can’t wait to see where the story goes next!
