Welcome to Urich's Adventures!

Hello Wuxiaworld readers!

With the launch of this brand new novel, I would also like to introduce a new addition to the Wuxiaworld team. Please help me welcome Woo! Here is his message to the Wuxiaworld community~

Hello everyone!

My name is Woo and I’m the lucky Korean translator who’s been put in charge of translating Barbarian Quest.

A bit about my background. As a fluent Korean speaker born in Korea and living in Canada, I’ve been doing casual translations for quite a long time; volunteering as a language translator for Korean Canadian summer camps, assisting teachers at a local Korean school, and even translating my dad’s work document. But I only started doing it professionally a short while ago with Wuxiaworld. I was very excited to learn that I was joining Wuxiaworld as a translator, and that excitement grew even more when I started reading and translating Barbarian Quest.

Although I haven’t been the most avid fantasy novel reader, this novel very quickly captivated me with its refreshing and eye-catching story with dynamic characters. The story of two very different worlds divided by a huge mountain range, and a young tribal warrior leaving everything behind to cross those mountains and venture into the unknown world makes it almost impossible for you to stop reading.

I would like to thank Cosy for her support in my onboarding journey and throughout my early stages at Wuxiaworld, as well as the managers Yojj and Felica and the editorial team Grace and Retired Penguin for the warmest welcome and help!

Thank you everyone for taking the time to read my short introduction, and I truly hope that you enjoy Barbarian Quest as much as I enjoyed reading and translating it!

Best,

Woo
