At chapter 100, I maintain my previous review.

It’s a story that feels chill, well written and with a decent humor. The story flows well, cliches are there but at least it’s not obnoxious. The author takes time to build up the world and each quest the MC embarks on. The dialogues are decent: short and to the point. MC has a unique power that has him looking out for more quests from his sect and therefore the whole story revolves around that. However, each quest is quite well written as the author takes his time to build up the relevant people/monsters on the quest and also try to build up the world or slowly move forward the plot.

That said, it’s a relatively moderately pace story with a great world building and decent dialogues. I would recommend everyone who like possession or cultivation or monster hunting to read this. The cultivation part might be slow but the other stuffs like actions and humor are great.

I’m going to give this one a try because after 9 chapters in sneak peek, I really like the main character. He’s just a regular kid that was thrust onto a strange new world. He’s not blood thirsty or savage but he’s got a great cheat aka golden finger to help him get stronger faster. The world building is pretty standard but the main character’s development and character already have me rooting for him. There are some interesting characters, so far. His master is very powerful but she’s a lazy drunken loon. I’m pretty sure that she’s going to keep things fun and interesting. I recommend giving it a try. Happy reading ✌🏾

[chapter 70] I'm very much enjoying this so far. I like the pace, it's a little on the slow and steady side, but it doesn't feel like it's dragging its feet, the MC is progressing nicely. I also enjoy the comedy, it's mostly subtle comedy, but it gets a few good chuckles out of me. Side characters are interesting and don't feel like cookie cutouts. One thing i'm concerned about is the romance, none has officially started, but i'm getting the vibe that the author wants all female characters to fall for the MC, but I hope we get to see other characters have relationships with each other and also to see some platonic relationships in addition to the romantic ones. It is a minor gripe, the novel is great, but it is still early days.
