It was a majestic sight. A giant parasol tree that housed an equally majestic phoenix. Even the plumage of the phoenix was a beautiful sight with how the feathers of its tail floated.

This was a sight completely different than the skeletons Bai Yunfei and Xiao Qi had been used to seeing.

There was something off about this phoenix, however. Its actual body was not one of flesh and bone, but an illusion created by the physical manifestation of elemental energy!

Bai Yunfei’s senses were telling him that the bones within this illusion were infused with an astronomical amount of energy. It was little wonder that this illusion could be maintained so perfectly.
