[Baal’s Barrier]

I transformed the Desert Eagle into a sniper rifle. The handgun expanded with its familiar mechanical sounds. The barrel fused with aether extended forward and the muzzle pointed towards the existence in the distance.

I thought about where to snipe Baal: the heart, the head, or the eyes. None of them looked like weak points. After all, not even the god-slaying bullet could easily pierce Baal’s defense.

The god-slaying bullet didn’t possess enough power to penetrate his outer skin. It couldn’t cut through everything like Kim Suho, push forward with brute force like Chae Nayun, or distort reality like Jin Sahyuk. It could deal critical damage to a devil that reached divinity, but would have to find a way through first.
