[Shin Jonghak’s Mind]

Jin Sahyuk didn’t exactly enjoy watching two grown men cry in each other’s arms. Still, she decided not to interfere and didn’t want to risk losing Shin Myungchul’s legacy.

“Ssp…”

She watched Shin Jonghak wailing like a pig and wondered why he suddenly became such a crybaby. She crossed her arms and waited.

— It’s time for me to go.

Shin Myungchul finally announced and Jin Sahyuk sighed in relief. Shin Jonghak shook his head like a baby, but his grandfather seemed resolute.

Shin Myungchul couldn’t stay even if he wanted. His soul already began to fade. Shin Jonghak lowered his head and sobbed again when he saw his grandfather’s legs becoming dust.

— Jonghak, look at me.

However, Shin Myungchul didn’t fear death. He felt more concerned about his grandson than himself and only warmly smiled.

— Think of all the things you’ll accomplish as a hero.

Shin Jonghak raised his head and tried to smile, but his face distorted with tears.

“Pfft… Hmph.” Jin Sahyuk quickly covered her mouth. She almost burst into laughter because he looked like a squid.

— Jonghak.

Shin Myungchul stroked his grandson’s head. Shin Jonghak stared at his grandfather the entire time to remember this moment...
