[Mount Kilata]

We reached the peak at about 5120 meters. The view at the top looked nothing like the other mountains. The temperature didn’t decrease at higher altitudes due to a magic power phenomenon. Kilata maintained the jungle’s humid temperature even at its peak.

“We have 3 more peaks left.”

Harin muttered as we looked down. We had to climb 3 more mountains to arrive at the republic. I dragged myself up with a sigh.

“Should we get going then?”

Harin glanced at Boss, who nodded and looked into the distance.

“Yes, let’s go.”

We walked through Kilata’s dense forest and swamps again while slaying monsters as they appeared. Our surroundings slightly changed after about an hour.

“Fog?”

A thick, dense fog blocked our view. First, it stayed around our ankles, but soon ballooned and entirely covered Kilata in less than 30 minutes. Harin and Boss couldn’t see anymore and stopped.

”It looks like Mirinae’s fog drifted down here.” Harin calmly informed us.

“Mirinae?”

“Yes, Mirinae is also known as the mountain of fog. I’ve heard of its nickname, but never imagined its fog would be this thick.” Harin bit her lower lip.
