Gonna give this novel a thumbs up with a positive review solely because I don't think it's fair that it was bombarded with a bunch of negative reviews when the only material of this novel (that I could find out there) translated was done by garbage machine translation. (And manga which generally skips most of the plot in order to get to the 'showy parts')

I've been looking for a proper translation of this novel for the longest time as MTL was utter garbage (only read up to 30 chapters) and have been keeping up with the official manga. While I can concur with some comments below such as that it feels pretty mediocre with some of the plot not being properly explained (such as why MC was in the hero's realm), the fact that it currently has over 1300 chapters at the time of this review (according to novelupdates) gives me some hope that this novel shouldn't entirely be a lost cause.

I'm writing this review for 2 reasons

1. To offset the negative reviews

2. Because I quite liked the manhwa back when I used to read manhwas and I hope this turns out to be better than the manhwa I think this is going to be good because I realised the mc actually really reminds me of Denburg from My civil servant life reborn in this strange world the overpowered type that hides their strength and chooses to manipulate stuff from the shadows instead which I actually quite like as a trope so I hope this novel will be good

Another review just to cancel out the people who read the manhwa and decided to give a negative review here immediately. Also a manhwa reader, sure it's generic isekai w/ a rushed pace but that's the manhwa and basing your novel review on that is stupid. Read some of the actual novel first ffs.

That said- The plot for this is a generic OP Isekai MC so if that's not your thing, this probably won't be for you. If you're interested in a pretty mainstream self-insert MC who has the power and skills to do whatever they feel like then it's certainly not the worst in that category.
