There were many things in the world that could not be explained. Like the couple from the store selling fried rice cakes on the Sky Sea Sect’s ferry who entrusted their baby to Rourou. 

Their son had been weak since birth and they spent all their savings trying to find a physician for him. They finally made it to Langya Area and found an incredible doctor who managed to cure their son. 

The family of three were in high spirits as they boarded the ferry back, not having to wander around anymore.

And the process that they thought saved their child, was actually their child slowly turning into a ghost baby. Yet, he seemed perfect and had a bit of the aura a baby should have, all for the situation today. 

From the start till the end, the couple was completely oblivious to it all, like chess pieces being played with by someone. 

It was extremely disheartening, yet the only comforting thing was that before the baby was revealed to be a ghost baby, the couple had already died. They did not have to face this cruel reality. 

But it really happened. Even if they died, it would not erase things.
