With ‘Breaking Heavens’ as its name, it was because the mountain terrain was treacherous and steep as it cut through the clouds, instilling fear in people’s hearts. 

Another reason was because of the clouds; they had a strange effect that was able to isolate senses and reverse auras. When cultivators entered them, it was easy for them to get lost.
