Just caught up to the main 50 chapter release and I approve of this novel!~
The setting is pretty common so far, we have a slightly wimpy MC who transmigrates and gets caught up in a chaotic world. I know the catchline for the novel is "he gains points after a harmonious night" but it's surprisingly a bit more complex than that, and the MC does discover more about the system as the novel goes on. Which imo is nice, because our MC isn't OP at all. Honestly we see novels all the time where the MC gains the system and in one month he's basically god-tier of the moral realm. Our MC here is constantly vigilant for dangers and is very humbly aware that he's rather lowly on the totem pole.
The cultivation threw me off a little but honestly their explanations are pretty easy to understand. So far it's rather generic with world building (small village, then small sect, etc etc), but it does have a ton of foreshadowing for what's to come, and it's already introduced elements into the store that the MC has a goal to hit. It shows a lot of promise for what's to come and doesn't really lose energy or pacing.
The only gripe I will say about this novel is that it's got very little actual action in it, in so far. We get a few moments where the MC might get caught up in a fight, but he avoids them pretty well (hence why I called him wimpy). Which, in fairness, is quite a bit a bit different from other cultivation novels. But I can see where this is going to go and I'm all for it.
I'll probably edit this review around 200 but honestly so far, I'd recommend this!
