On the shore of the Pond of Life, Qianye had fallen between a rock and a hard place. The distant six-armed giant, after figuring out his movements, had circled around to intercept.

Qianye would bump into it if he were to advance, but the other direction was the core region of the Pond of Life. Heading in that direction was akin to walking under the eyes of the aquatic behemoth.
