Of course, Erwin had made sure to take a good look at Lana within the black mist, but when it came to things like this, a live viewing was naturally far preferable to seeing a vision within a cloud of mist. Furthermore, Lana had been unconscious back then, but she was very much up and about now, and the sight of her panicked and embarrassed display would've made for far more enjoyable viewing.

However, Erwin wasn't in the mood to be thinking about that.

He was constantly massaging his own glabella, trying to think of what could've possibly happened in the south to place Lana in peril, but to no avail.

The look in her eyes had been filled with grief, helplessness, and panic, and those were clearly the eyes of someone who was on the verge of death.

After pondering the situation for some time, he went directly to Christine's room before knocking on the door. "Christine, are you there?" 

Christine was in her room, checking through the entries on the accounts. Many expenditures had been made since Erwin decided to begin recruiting for the Four Winds mercenary legion again. She opened the door to see Erwin standing outside with a grim expression, and she immediately asked, "Did something happen, Brother Erwin?"

"I'm still feeling very uneasy. Can I get you to go to Zans and contact the Lodais Organization to enquire about Lana's situation for me?" Erwin asked with undisguised unease and urgency in his eyes.
