Chapter 93: The Big Barbecue

Jiang Zhengkai carefully surveyed A-Tie’s residence.  The place was a mess. Most of the furniture had been badly damaged, and blood splatters were everywhere.  From the looks of it, A-Tie had put up quite a fight with the intruders before he’d been overpowered.

“Are there any valuable leads?” Jiang Zhengkai asked his colleague from the Material Evidence Division as the latter was in the middle of collecting evidence.

“Not yet, Inspector Jiang,” the crime scene investigator politely replied when he saw it was Jiang Zhengkai who had asked the question.  “However, from the amount of damage in the room, we can tell that a serious physical struggle had occurred here. Furthermore, the attackers were not professional killers.  They stabbed the victim multiple times, but none of the stab wounds were fatal.
