There were two ways I could gain skill experience in Beyond. The first was simple: using skills while fighting Beyond’s monsters. My skill experience increased significantly more in Beyond than it did in the First Dungeon. I didn’t know whether it was because the monsters here were Floor Master class, whether there were so many of them, or whether it was Beyond’s special characteristic. For example, my Crossbow Marksmanship had soared in levels, and by the time I cleared Beyond’s 2nd floor, it had reached mid-rank level 6.

The second occurred whenever I cleared Beyond’s floors. The skills I mainly used to clear the floors also had their levels increase exponentially. Because of that, my Elemental Control, Spirit Aura, and Elemental Contract had all risen to mid-rank level 8.

Despite all those benefits, I really wanted to increase my Spear Technique levels more.

Peruta told me that I would have the qualification to learn his spearmanship when my Peruta Circuit reached level 7 and I mastered high-rank Spear Technique.
