All he remembered was a flash of red light that seemed to swallow the whole world and a pain that wracked his body.

Then, Kang Chan fell to the floor.
“Argh!”
As he gritted his teeth and pushed himself up with his arms, stones the size of his thumbnails pressed into his palms.
So this was why he felt as if he was being stabbed with awls.
Kang Chan turned and glanced around, finding layers of jagged mountains obscuring the view. In the sky, which was on the verge of a rain shower, a Blackhead was exuding a blood-red light, shining like a moon.

The blowing wind smelled foul—almost like sulfur. His gut was warning him.
Damn it!
Kang Chan examined himself again.
He still hadn’t gone numb.
He was sure he was dead, though. The Blackhead had exploded. Kang Chan also remembered being hit by a huge beam of light. When he woke up, he found himself on a mountain of jagged stones, wearing nothing but a suit and shirt.
“Hah!”
He was on the side of the mountain. There was a sheer cliff in front of him, tempting...
