‘They say if you’re still handsome with a bald head, then you’re really handsome..’

I've been looking at my receding hairline all wrong.

This one sentence gave me the smallest tinge of hope.

Unless I go completely bald and find out I am indeed not handsome before this series ends, I will be reading this all the way through.

Disclaimer: I made this review before finishing the first chapter. So I've got nothing else to say at this juncture.

I'll adjust this review as the series continues, and as my hair continues to discontinue.

Okay, so, 13 chapters in and somehow MC is already a genius level fighter. But a fight vs goblins took 5 minutes? kinda long, especially with how quick it was described as. (DnD/pathfinder, 1 round is 6 seconds, so this expert level fighter took the MC 30 rounds? i know im mixing logics here but still . . .)

Boss battle with a whole groupof allies took an hour, which seems way waaaaay long.

And he's already expecting thugs to recognize his superior power level.

I might go bald *because* of this story, but I said what I said, so I'll stick it through.

While all of you had seen this plot line before: "12 heroes and the thirteen, labeled as Betrayer or Demon King", writing is not about writing an exasperating plot.

It's all about *how* you do it.

And this author writing is pretty solid, right now on 20th chapter, but will continue to look in the future. I feel like what' he is writing, he is writing really well, and have a clear vision in mind.

The story itself is decent. However I can't stand the writers style. He likes to make cliff hangers mid chapter. For example he will write that the MC got this skill or powerup and then he just cuts away for half a chapter to a whole chapter. I could understand if he did it at the end of the chapter and then continues, but no he does it in the middle of the chapters and then goes on about other parts of the story. You of course can't really concentrate on what is being said because you are just waiting to know what the actual powerup was. This has frustrated me enough to drop the novel early on.
