Park Geon's game, fantasy novel - D.I.O
Yoon Yong-no, a 'mutated genius' born one in a quintillion (1,000,000,000,000,000,000). A 'statistical miracle' where possibility exists in impossibility.
But, it was only possible because... it was a world with no constraints.
Gradually, gods and transcendents involved themselves with this physical world.
In this chaotic turmoil, players with their real identities unknown, started making use of the game system to build up an armed group...

You thought it was a review but it was really me DIO!

On a more serious note I'm 9 chapters in and already liking it. The MC is a genius which is really satisfying. Don't get me wrong I like the 'useless MC who fights against the heavens' plot as much as the next guy but if you only have trash rising up then it feels all the same. The novel has done pretty good in comedy although I don't see a tag for it. The comedy isn't said by the characters but more like the scenes and actions are funny I mean who spends the entire tutorial maxing out stats? The NPCs seem super realistic(although only 1 so far) and the system for stats gives me good feelings about its 'uniqueness'. I'll update later once its at 20.

Finally reached chapter 20. At the start there was random text like "1-@" and only later on I learned that it was unloaded pictures for stats so I missed out on almost all of that. The book is still as interesting as before and watching Yongno grow so quickly is really satisfying since strength doesn't really rely much on cultivation levels(at least for now) and him having a water affinity is very interesting as most novels use other elements. I think MC will get dragon type powers since he has a high water affinity and chapter 20 makes me want to believe it. Other side characters rn aren't that interesting but maybe they will be more important and entertaining once they meet the MC but rn I feel like author just writes so he can take a break from thinking about what Yongno should experience next. I totally recommend this book, I liked it a lot and found it very new and much more interesting than other novels. Just be careful of long waits since I think took about twenty days for chapters 19 and 20 to be released after chapters 1-18 were released. Also just realized this but the summary is super funny "mutated genius" lol

If you ignore most reviews written before chapter 20 and jojo memes you'll realize this novel isn't actually good.

This novel is a clusterfuck of poorly done info dumps with the occasional random powerup for the MC so you don't lose interest. I'm 42 chapters in and the story is still 70% MC is super good at whatever he does but is clueless to how 'exceptional' he is, 20% side stories with no context, and 10% actual plot. If I read another line about how masterful his ability to use 'random placeholder cultivation/ability' my brain is going to rot. If you want to read a book where half of every chapter is info dumps and the other half is so lazily written that you wonder why they even bother with the info dumps then this is the story for you. If you want something similar to this but not as terrible try Game's Dogma. Game's Dogma isn't great either and it's filled with lazy plot devices (cough cultivation cough) but it's at least 4x better than this dumpster fire.

No I am not going to make a Dio jojoke. Anyways.

I very much enjoyed reading this. I pretty much just bought VIP so I could read this since the synopsis seemed quite interesting and the reviews are overwhelmingly positive.

I like the system of leveling up where you take tests to level up, and are only qualified to take the tests based on XP, rather than levelling up solely based on XP, even though we are still in the tutorial and haven't seen the system in action yet. It reminds me of tower of god with the tests. I hope the author can write entertaining tests and I look forward to it.

One thing I don't understand is the arcs, they seem to be only a few chapters long and I don't get it, but it doesn't really detract from the experience. There were some chapters with other random characters introduced, and these seem like early introductions although I feel that they could have been implemented better since it was kind of jarring to switch between two perspectives with no link inbetween them, and it doesn't even look like the characters will meet soon anyway so I am not quite sure why they were introduced so early.

Overall, I highly enjoy this novel. I am not sure how this VIP sneak peak thing works, and I writing this review basically to just ensure that this does in fact get a full translation. I don't know what happened to "one chapter per day until chapter 20" since I have caught up to chapter 16 a few days ago and there hasn't been any new chapters since.
