It would be more apt to title this "Braindead Moron's Art of Revenge".
The novel started off with a great hook. The MC was a braindead idiot in her first life, and was viciously taken advantage of, betrayed, and tortured. Her family is raped and murdered, her senior brothers and sisters are slaughtered, her sect is destroyed, and her unborn child was liquified in her womb. She was absolutely traumatized and filled with regret.
Then she gets a do-over. So naturally, aside from having the cultivation knowledge and experience from her first life, she's also cunning, cautious, and wise. Or so you'd think. She starts off that way; ruthless and cunning, outsmarting schemers who plot against her. Then it's like the author got replaced, and the MC becomes a "cute" lovestruck teenager who's also quite clever and capable of scheming. Okay, I can work with that; affectionate to loved ones, ruthless to enemies. But then it devolves even more and they drop her IQ further and further. She makes incredibly stupid decisions again and again. Gone are the lessons she "learned" from her previous life. Wtf.
Super dumb, naive protagonists are bad enough at the best of times, and the fact that this MC is a regressor who spent decades living a life of absolute hell makes the naivety all the more inexcusable.
